Oh I'm very happy with the grip the KO2's have given so far, and there really isn't a lighter combination to be had. 21lb wheels and 51lb tires?

I will say though that the extra inch helped keeping me from scraping quite a few times. So rotational mass or the static mass of armor? I'm sticking with the 285/70R17's. Just had to drive in to work to remember why.

SOB's

Another reason we can't have nice things. :swear:
I'm quite disappointed with the KO2s performance in snow & ice.

Oh yeah, and if you do utilize the tires for their purpose, I'm all for it.

These tires are huge... but then again they actually use them, above and beyond what most others do.

Okay, I'll agree that they could be better on snow and ice. I just chalked it up to being spoiled by the Subaru and Blizzaks. I haven't gotten stuck but I will say I'm no where near as confident when the roads ice up.

I also hate that they seem to pickup every little stone to throw against the side of the Jeep. Terrible.
