Status update:
Sliders removed and are thawing out in my basement workshop.
Body bolts torqued to spec.
Now enjoying JHWR shenanigans.

Later today will be cleaning up the sliders and giving them a very thorough inspection so I can report to the buyer.
That's cool you found a buyer !...Kinda eases the pain of the switch eh ?

I'm looking for someone to adopt my 35's so I can change shoe size ...no luck yet but haven't really tried that hard

Yes, having a buyer lined up is quite nice.

I think the Roams have a better foot hold rather than the tube if you ever needed to use them

especially for us older more distinguished gentlemen !

FWIW, I spent quite a bit of time talking to the new car setup dude at the Jeep dealership about this very subject. He has had a soft top wrangler for years. The main thing he said is that you really can't stop the scratching, only minimize it. You have to really soak the windows and only use clean microfiber to clean them off, being careful to rinse often. I used a sponge on mine ONCE and now have big swirls all over cuz it musta had something stuck in it. To try and protect them, he strongly suggests Aqua Glow. They also use it to spray on wet vehicles to help shed the water.

I’m a late Good Morning to you all. Been a little busy. Had ordered one of the bags to put the back seat in, and got that done. Then tried to clean the back window. I used the suggestions the bulletin came out about, but with no success. Only seemed to scratch the window worse! Great!!
Hope all have a good Saturday.
Yikes....hope your day only gets better

Mornin Jeep Peeps! I have some exciting news! I found a buyer for my ACE sliders! woohoo! Now to remove them today and make further plans to get them shipped out. It's one of the fine folks here on JLWF too. I'll spill who it is at a later time.

In other news, I just got done replacing two of the hdmi cables on my home theater system to ensure that they are in fact high speed. The cable from the dvd player to the amp was way too short anyhoo. More gooderer now.
I didn't catch it, why are you disemmodding your sliders?
