Yeah, the little lid clamps thingies would definitely help, especially when offroading while making stew.

I had a cinch strap to hold everything down, but wouldn't want to try rock crawling with that. My next move was to see if I could get one of those baking silicone mats and use it to make a gasket.

He’s doing okay. Still working on the burn on his back and then he gave me a pile of insurance papers to go through. I’ve alre found discrepancies, so those assholes are getting a phone call tomorrow.

I use one of those GE lamp timers. Works great; the power draw of a CrockPot on high is low enough to not fry them either!
