Gonna Say ... Can't wait to be free of my hardtop for-evva.
I'm glad I've got the removal of said top down to a science, provided I have a buddy on hand. ;)

We are hoping to do a few hikes up by @CatskillsAlex when the weather warms up again. The plan is to make the drive up there with the top and doors off.:rock::rock:

The top has been around long enough where, if they were serious, they make it as easy to de-top as the it is to take off the Freedom panels.

Fam and I do lots of road trips. And, long weekends. Want to have top for going 70 mph on the highway and then de-top when we get to destination. Too hard with the hard top. I only bought the hardtop because dealer didn't want to swap, and I didn't custom order. (I'm way too impulsive for that.) I also prefer the Bestop Trektop NX https://www.bestop.com/NX-Family/ with the fastback style. It was supposed to ship Dec 24, now in Jan ... when I get, I'll probably end up giving away the Hard Top to someone who wants to swing by.

I wanted the hard top for the extra security/ vandalism resistance, and for the rear glass during the winter. Trade off is that it's a real bear to get on and off without a lifting contraption or, as mentioned before, a loyal buddy/Jeeple. Would love for them to release a modular hard top - still don't understand why they haven't looked into this at all.

One day, when I get a garage, I'll setup one of those top hoist systems and go topless a lot more often. Until then, I'll save it for the occasional weekend jaunt.

At least the Freedom Panels are easy enough to take off.
