Ice: mastered. Made it safely yesterday. The rain means there is none to step on today. It's revealed the leaves I didn't deal with prior to the snow though.

Yesterday, on my way home from family xmas, I had to travel on the highway through Toronto. I had something new to be grateful for.

I'm grateful that the person who was following too closely in the rain had quick reflexes. Because when he finally did come to a stop, he was on the shoulder of the highway, and his driver door was next to my front passenger. My kid and I would likely have been fine, but Gamora wouldn't have walked away from that one quite so easily.

Scary moment.

I drive a lot for work. I'd LOVE an electric. As it is, I'm considering adding a Subaru to our stable sometime in the future, just for work driving.

So, I got really tired all of a sudden around 7PM last night and hit the hay. Lo and behold, 11:30 PM rolls around, and I wake up. Some YouTube and Facebook later, I was still not sleepy, so I decided to catch up on JHWR shenanigans before attempting sleep again.
