Finally got part 2 to play nicely.
You're a brave man going at those bolts with that impact wrench. Also, I was a little worried that you'd only put the bolts in far enough to catch the retaining clips and that the slider was going to fall and give you a nice lump on the noggin'!

I'm currently in communications with ACE cuz my driver's side slider is pushing the rubi rail up so it touches the body. So far they haven't been much help. I've requested they replace it. We'll see what happens.

ok my Jeeples. Here is part 1 of the slider install. Part 2 is giving me grief, of course. Only about 5 minutes each. Once I beat part 2 into submission I'll get it out there.
Is that your shoulder squeaking, or the bolt?!? :cwl::cwl:

ACE's welding is no work of art. As far as I can tell, the FAT welds on the top of the slider are contacting the rubi rail. I might have to take it off and do some grinding. I even went to Fastenal and bought some BAWs (Big-Ass Washers) that are a 1/4" thick and put them between the body mount points and the sliders, issue still remains.

The welds on my sliders look pretty nice. I even had my local professional welder take a peek. Only critique was where they stopped and started some of the welds.

Well, my welds look like your welds so I guess I'm good from a strength standpoint. Those end-cap welds in your second video are not going to win any awards. ;)
