This is a tough subject! I’ll definately be including you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Enjoy ever last minute you can with him! Try to make them as as special as you can! Hopefully if you have brothers and sisters you will all get to spend a lot of time with him.

My wife has had cancer twice, and thank God has beat it each time. First time was in 1976. She went through chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. Then again in 1980. She’s been cancer free since then.

While serving in Korea I lost my father to cancer in 1991. Got to come home on emergency leave for 30 days to spend some time with him. The last thing I said to him as I walked out the door was “I’ll see you again”. He passed away about 20 days after I got back to Korea.

Lost my mother to cancer in 2004. She lasted for 6 months after she was diagnosed with cancer. She decided to have no treatment when they discovered it. She lived to be 83, and my father was 81. I think of them all the time!

For now we’ll all be thinking of your father, your family and you!
Sorry, man. Really hate to hear these stories, but thank you for sharing. The C is a real shit face and can GFT as far as I'm concerned.
