Here's our power report. Our largest bill this year was $101 with two AC's running. Usually we run $80-$90 during the summer months.

While we put away what we can, 2 business owners have no fail safe retirement. And we spend. Cause you can’t take it with ya. So maybe 80 for us too.

SDG&E sends me these letters every so often telling me that I'm using four times the average amount of power of "similar" homes in my area. Yeah, well, I have central AC motherfuckers! Those other houses don't. Then they sent me a letter saying "You're going to incur the state mandated high usage tier this month."

I get notices like that, too (on every bill, actually, to ensure I remember how bad I am). I’m all, “well, my neighbours don’t live in a big church, either, so F you!!”
