I was driving through upstate the other day and saw a sign like people post on telephone poles advertising “git r done home repair”. Mentally added it to the list of businesses I will NEVER use :cwl::cwl:

we have a " Git r Done" drywall company down here ..small one but they are licensed and insured so they had to obtain a DBA and either go LLC or S CORP which stays with you unless you change your DBA

there stuck with that even if the catch phrase goes south

Hey Dan! Some friends across town are having a garage sale, then we are gonna drive around a bit, pick up Patrick's new phone, perhaps make an appearance at my company picnic, and who knows what else. I hope you don't have to work too long today so you can go out and enjoy!

It's gonna be a combination of both , I've already drew up one kitchen design and sent it out so I thought I would peek my head in the door to see what you hooligans are up to today

Super comfy, fun vehicle. Cost a fortune to maintain. I finally sat down with hubby and years worth of maintenance bills, and had “the talk”.

Yeah, I've nearly always had a british or german vehicle in the stable, so have long experienced high maintenance/repair costs. Drives the spousal unit crazy - gives me sh#t about it all the time, but haven't had the talk yet
I'm not so sure that it's much more or often across the brands to maintain these days, tho. Cars are so electronic complex and seemingly disposable nowadays. I think our most costly vehicle to maintain was actually a Honda mini van - active engine mount failures, chewed thru tires, tranny gremlin, self-induced bumper and fender replacements - was our camp car and we got it stuck jeep style a couple times . Was why I got the Landy, actually, and eventually led to 4Runner, then da da da: Wrubi JLUR

Living with friends sounds super awesome, but if you don't mesh as well as you thought it can turn into a nightmare. That's what happend.

OK peeps, the AC units have been safely removed from the winderz and put back into their boxes. Neighbor dude helped me put them up on the shelf in the garage. My Saturday project is hereby marked COMPLETED.

In other news, I'm sure glad no-one was watching me try to put the upstairs screen back into the window. Seems I forgot how it came out, so I was almost wrecking it trying to get it to go back in. Light bulb moment was when I really looked at the outside of the window and realized that the screen hooks on from the OUTSIDE!

That’s amazing.

Mine was so inept about figuring out our something about our block heater cord - and insisting that they just didn’t exist, that I finally called the Land Rover dealership in Winnipeg to get the correct answer.

That was just one of many many terrible experiences.

Ours was a jerk, so I totally crossed off ever owning one...pretty sad! I've never had a salesman huff away mouthing off at me!!! Totally crazy!
