If you don’t use ESS you can watch your average drop just sitting at a traffic light!

lol, I used to do that in the Ram 1500, watch it drop from a decent 19-20ish back down to 16... ugh

And in the old Ram 3500 5.9 liter, while it didn't have a fuel economy gauge (1998MY 15 passenger vans don't care about MPG) you could watch the fuel gauge move even at idle.
