This just blew my mind. Clearly this dude is one lucky sumbitch, cuz I tried everything. I even crawled up into the Jeep and put all my weight onto the top and there was no further click like he got. Mine still bounces like it always has. I'm gonna call my bros at the dealer to get their take on this. In honor of Mythbusters: BUSTED!
Have you ever taken the main bows out of the rails and tried it that way? (spoken like a true expert that doesn't have a soft top, but a legitimate question)

At some point the salesman is gonna go try on a 4dr they have that's already folded down. See if maybe it's just 4dr's that this works on.

Nope, I did exactly what this dude did. Just folded everything down and set the locks. Then tried pushing the top further down, nuttin. Waiting to hear what the dealership finds out on the 4dr.

So we had some excitement at our little office. One of our partner’s wife had their baby yesterday. She wasn’t due til December. :surprised: Baby was choppered to the nicu in Duluth but appears to be doing ok. Only a bit over 2 lbs.
Wow! I really hope the baby is going to be okay. That is very premature.

Not that hard to get up that high on the interstate Mike, My average went up to 23.5 a few weeks ago when I had nothing by highway driving on her. Its gone down since getting back to work and fighting traffic but its still a good 21.5. (ESS!)

I know. Just busting on him. Mine started out a bit higher and then some local yokel wanted me to hit some trails. That put a dent in the mpg. I know if I took a trip down the interstate with her locked into cruise it would continue to climb a bit more.

lol, I feel ya. I'm surprised at how fast that overall average drops when you're on a trail. Doesn't make it any less fun throwing mud everywhere...

Me too. Way early.
Grandpa was in the office today with pictures, so sounds like all is ok. Gonna be a long time spent in the hospital though.
Okay, good that things are going well.

Exactly. In no way am I complaining. Hitting the trails is awesome and worth the mpg loss.

I'll have you know that just because they don't fly the food from the finest chefs in Rome, doesn't mean it's not tasty. ;)
