It's a great little tripod for vlog'ing because you can quickly adjust the camera angle by pushing the button on the side and moving the ballhead around. The legs also quickly fold to the center to make a carry-around rig.

And the price is right.

Yeah, I would get the 6. Better image stabilization and a few other specs are better as well. I'll probably pick up a 6 on black friday or the like.

Also, you might look at the Joby GorillaPod tripods. They're more flexible/adaptable than the Manfrotta Pixi. For under-vehicle work though I think the Manfrotto is perfect.
