10,000 and 50,000 are the two most quoted numbers here lol!
If I were to spend $10k to build a Rubicon killer, I sure wouldn't start with a new $35k sport. A) my wife would have me skinned, B) you aren't buying new axles with $10k so you are relegated to junkyard or Craigslist findings (i.e. a crap shoot), C) TJ's are cheapish and coolish and make great trail rigs, D) ever try finding a 4:1 transfer case? Essentially, the argument falls flat for me. I bought a Rubicon to use it...on rocks (heaven forbid)! Mall crawling isnt in my repertoire. I'd be lucky if I washed my Jeep more than twice a year using soap, pressure washer after a wheeling trip is more my speed.

A quick jaunt over to Jeep.com resulted in me realizing I could buy 2 FWD Renegades for the price of my Sahara.... :headbang:

It vexes me as well, with everything he says and does and has to get drug kicking and screaming to do the right thing, even with General Kelly, General Mattis and Ivanka and Melania all pulling their hair out over these things.....

Another vexing thing is there have been a few instances where people have left our church over our minister (a deeply conservative man) purposely keeping his politics out of his sermons. He refuses to use his position in the church to sway anyone's vote, and that's one of the reasons I really like him, not to mention his family connection.
I've just about given up on him exiting before his term is up. I keep seeing his actions, his insults, kerfuffles, what have you, and thinking that "OK, this will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. He can't possibly get away with that." And then he does. No one in Washington will stand up to him aside from some token grandstanding. It's frankly disgusting. People are abandoning their morals (and common decency in many cases) for power. Pure and simple.

Very respectable of your minister to keep politics out of his stuff. That's how it should be. I feel like people not doing that is part of how we ended up in this mess to begin with.

Not to continue the politics stuff, but maybe they are just more terrified of Pence getting in there.

I honestly am curious about where the line is between Rubis and Sports. I know the differences between the two models, but at what point exactly does a trail become impossible for a Sport but passable for a Rubi? How much edge does a Rubi have over a Sport?

Its more of a blur than a line I think.
