You absolutely nailed it! The ugliness is over trim levels. I guess I paid $10k for stickers. I didn't throw down in that thread, just isn't worth losing my religion over. Also, evidently, it's best to throw a hissy fit over a yellowing grill. Being courteous and somewhat understanding because somebody paid too much for a white Jeep is just an asinine thought. Nope, took the high road there too. At least here the snarky remarks aren't meant to hurt. We had a very gracious discussion on labor for Pete's sake.

lol, yes those mightily expensive stickers... Nevermind the 4.10 Axles, Locking differentials, disconnecting sway bars, upgraded transfer case and beefy KO2 tires...

Yep a catastrophic design flaw but... you can use the scary footage that will get people attention to describe your opponent's platform...

On to your second point... If Donald Trump, The man that has cheated on pretty much each wife he's had, brags about just grabbing women by the you know what and says plenty of other things that are very counter to Christian philosophy, can somehow get the Evangelical vote... you shouldn't have a problem.

He still goes to church every Sunday I believe. I don't want to descend into a religious debate, but my absence on Sundays would speak much louder than his infidelities ever could.

That being said, I am dumbfounded as to how he got the Evangelical vote. As you said, he is constantly violating one of the 10 Commandments at nearly every moment it seems. I think that speaks volumes about the majority of Evangelicals, politics, and human nature as a whole.

It vexes me as well, with everything he says and does and has to get drug kicking and screaming to do the right thing, even with General Kelly, General Mattis and Ivanka and Melania all pulling their hair out over these things.....

Another vexing thing is there have been a few instances where people have left our church over our minister (a deeply conservative man) purposely keeping his politics out of his sermons. He refuses to use his position in the church to sway anyone's vote, and that's one of the reasons I really like him, not to mention his family connection.
