First and second test drives complete.
  • New gearing feels awesome
  • Feel like she got a brake job, too. E-brake engages much earlier
  • All my clunks are gone with the new axles and Grimm Hardware kit (and higher torque values.)
The only remaining mystery is I'm getting a "Service Electronic Stability Control" warning text and icon. Idiot light stays on. I've centered the steering wheel as best as can be expected so I don't know what would cause it. Any ideas?

How far have you driven after centering the wheel and the light came on? I think it takes 30+ miles before it picks it back up unless you reset it with a tazer or jscan

X2 on driving for a bit.

Also make sure all 4 ABS sensors are properly plugged in.

The wheel speed sensors? Plugged in where?

The were all reinstalled behind the rotors.

I've probably only driven about 5 miles.

I'm also getting a "AutoPark disabled" message at startup but no associated idiot lights

It was our 36 year wedding anniversary yesterday. Loaded my wife in the Jeep and cruised back roads, primarily dirt roads for most of the day. We did stop off at a gun store and buy 10mm ammo, actually found a large sale that was open on a Tuesday way out on a dirt road. Bought some new shop rages and Carla bought to skirt for about $2. Eventually ended up at REI in Grand Rapids were Carla scored a nike pair or Altra trail running hiking shoes for %70 off.

What a great day. We finished it up with a four mile hike at one of our favorite local trails.
happy anniversary to the both of you!

That's what I meant. Drive it for a bit. If it doesn't clear itself, double check them.

Soooo back on my brakes i got no help on here.....
I bought the Power stop Z36 tow pads and will be installing them this weekend. Rotors seems to have no issues at all. Also plan to hammer out the dents in the metal bumper. More to come.

Not all Navy water craft are ships, Submarines for example are Boats and the crew get very upset if you call it a ship.
yeap. my father and brother hates it when someone calls a sub a ship. also my father would do a stare down when someone cracks a joke calling a sub a tin can or a under water cigar. :CWL:
