Agreed; movie was terrible, but there is something badass about seeing the Missouri sailing and firing off a broadside. CGI, but darn close to the original:

Oh yeah! It would have been pretty cool to see in real life.

I do appreciate its Patriotic nature, and cool scenes on the ships, but its not enough to really make me want to watch it more than once.

Its the usual blockbuster patriotic movie. The good officers get taken out first and the guy that gets in trouble with the Admiral all the time is left in command to fight the Extraterrestrial threat...
