What would you say are ‘things’ to watch out for when removing the hard top?

Using the rear glass as a handhold, and having it flip up on you.

I’m guessing that’s still an issue...

JLU here. Yeah, it takes a minute to figure out how to get a handle on it when you first try and pick it off. The other awkwardness is that the shell twists some so you are trying to "keep it straight" and you don't REALLY know what "straight" is as it moves a bit.

Not sure we did any damage to mine, it's in the basement with some blankets on sleeping. Will see when we wake it for winter, lol. I need to get that lift in by then!

How in the name of all things holy did you get the top into your basement??

Not too bad...my 2008 M3 did that worse. The tailgate seemed to be more sensitive.

Also, don't put your keyfob in the washer, unless you like random alarms every 10 or so minutes...just sayin...

I know it does, generally. But we give up on crates as they get older. With two newfs, I just can’t afford the required square footage in crates.

We keep our fingers crossed that they will become trustworthy....

So when the "second" fob went through the washer...I was washing my jeep. So I kept thinking it was when I sprayed through the front grille. It was a fun game for a while, lol.
