Yes, the longer you live in a area the more the roots run deep and harder to move. My brother and sister both stayed in the upstate NY area where we grew up 55 years ago, I don't see either of them moving no matter how much I sell the weather in sunnier climes AND the tax savings (probably 40 to 50 thousand for my well to do brotherBorn and raised in the Seattle area. Would be hard pressed to move south as many retirees do. A short stint in Huntsville AL during the mid sixties when my dad got transferred for the Space program. He worked for Werner Von Braun.
My only other excursion from the Puget Sound area was Cal Berkeley where I studied for a couple years before changing majors, returning and graduating from the University of Washington.
This is my home and although several siblings of both my wife and my side of the family have moved to Arizona. I don’t know if I can pull up these roots.

So the eel should fit right in.Good Morning, Silly Jeep Sod Types!
Well, it looks like the two stray cats that adopted us a few while ago… decided this was a good deal and grew the family.
Ergo, there’s now three -the grey tabby (Charley), the black-and-white one (Oreo) and now a wee little one, who is also black-and-white.![]()
Current name for the little one is ‘Tuxedo’ or Tux for short… but not 100% sure yet.
Cheers,
