You're not missing much. But the area is nice, the base has some good fishing and the cost of living in the Augusta area is low compared to other places I've been like Tampa. It's mostly a tradoc installation but we're starting to get overrun by the Cyber folks!

Ft Lewis or Joint base lewis McCord as its bulk own now is pretty cool too. They really did some wild upgrades since I got out in 2012. We frequent the Texas Roadhouse!

It’s crazy how many jeeps are on post. It’s crazy how many jeeps my family and I see on the road. We probably pass 15-20 every time we’re on the road.
