I broke mine, too. The pic is the passenger side. The red arrow is part number 68368567AA (or 68368567AD). The blue arrows are part number 68368568AA (or 68368568AD). Opposite numbers for the drivers side panel.

Should be covered under warranty, if it just quit during routine use and not from abuse..
It was my fault. I hit it with my palm to seat it behind my spider shade. Be careful with these. Doesn’t take much to break the plastic guide. JB weld does nothing to repair it, either.

Dealer will still warranty.. Just broke and I tried to fix myself versus bothering you Mr. dealer. Please replace under warranty. They undoubtedly will.

Reality is they should be more stout. Worse the dealer can say is no. You don't get if you don't ask.

Thanks for the heads up I will be careful with them..

No problem! You’re right, they would probably still warranty it. The thing is, I would rather pay 20 bucks for a replacement than go to the awful dealer near my house. And definitely they should be more stout. I really didn’t put much force on it.

Had one break on mine as well - about 2 weeks into owning jeep. Still works fine, will see if I get replacement with first oil change and recall fix at dealership. Have a list for that first appointment dealership might not like me at all

- discolored front end (white turning yellow)
- recall fix for cruise control
- bad pin on freedom top panel
- rear window defroster not connected

The dealer ended up breaking one on my driver's side panel when they installed the headliner kit.

Wow, I'm surprised these are so weak. I wonder if someone designed aluminum replacements if there'd be enough of a market for them to justify R&D.
I happen to be able to make something like that happen. Depending on the market, I could have them anodized red, blue, black and maybe even pink or light blue. The problem is, with OEM being $15 each, I don't see people spending too much for replacements. I figure they'd replace all 6 so they'd match, which would run the cost up to $150-$200. I assume most people would just spend the $15 periodically to replace them as they break.

Don’t under estimate people’s desired to pay for custom add ons.
I’d seriously consider match red aluminum ones.
Ahem.

Ha ha. The one thing that came to mind is that Wrangler owners tend to be one of the biggest markets for aftermarket. If it's going to happen, it would likely be with us.
That said, I know the red levers would tie in real nice with the Rubicon accents, so I can certainly see the appeal. I may look into this a bit more.
Nothing concrete, and not expecting any commitment, but does anyone else think they would consider buying a set if they became a reality?
