:like: I love the grip on these. Makes me jealous my LCP is the original version. :(
lol well good news is they're not hard to buy. I bought 2 for the price of a Glock at the local gun show.

I also like how its single action instead of double action only. Can't stand the trigger pull of DAO.

Last resort though, but there have been muggings right outside of our office. We're right next to the UNC School of the Arts and so a lot of these young and naive art students wander off campus straight into "the hood" and don't realize it.
I know the feeling. We are in a crappy neighborhood as well. Since I've worked here: Stabbing in the parking lot, guy lit on fire on the front steps, robbery of the credit union next door, and pretty much daily visits from the PD at the apartment building behind us (and one day where a resident there jumped out the third story window cause the cop was at his door...)

I am very familiar with the block by block scheme...I think I have a 1-2 block buffer between my apartment and auto chop shops. About a dozen blocks west are housing projects.

Subway stairs - lost tourists will exit the subway and stop at the top of the stairs trying to get their bearings. Meanwhile, there's a train's worth of people trying to get to the top of the same staircase. Nothing infuriates a New Yorker more than being impeded from wherever they're going.
lol okay I understand the subway thing now. Honestly that would bug me too, but I'd have actively think about not looking up to stare at the tall buildings. Ours only go up to 30 stories, plus the Granite Dome on top.

True. No one said I couldn't have BOTH! :)
And trigger pull can be a huge factor. The North American Arms 380 we have, I can't pull the trigger with just one finger. Not useful.

Yeah, I don't think I'd have a carry pistol that my wife wouldn't be able to shoot, so no DAOs nor something with a huge caliber (10mm or .44 mag) She's very good with my .40 Cal but full size Glocks aren't very concealable, more of a home defense or center console gun. I did have that one with me on Saturday when we went on our "Adventure"

Wise choice! Its good to have options! :like:
The NAA 380 stays in the gun safe. Can't even remember the last time it was shot.

Might be able to trade that NAA for a Ruger ;)
