Okay, things are starting to slow down some. I have a question for you all. Carla is wanting a new truck. She has backed into the Jeep and caved in the trunk of the the Kia Optima and I am not willing to fix it. After all it has almost 270,000 miles on it.

She is thinking that she wants a Chevy Colorado with the ZR2 package. It comes with a factory 3 in lift, 33 in tires and front and rear lockers and rock sliders.

Something like this.

I will probably order it.

We may look at the ZR1 package too. It will have a 2 in lift and auto rear locker.

Anyone know anything about these trucks? It is showing that it is rated #2 in the mid size truck category.

I have not looked at the 2024 model. So Idk how the 4cyl is on the zr1 or 2. I did look at the 2019 models when I was looking around for a new ride. The bison edition with the v6. I was thinking of getting. IMO I don’t know if I get the zr2 due to the shocks issues and rebuild. So I would have settled with the zr1. That was in 2019. As for the 2024. Idk how things are holding up. Didn’t the 4cyl have issues?. @Remorseless mentioned about the ranger raptor. They are nice but I think the 2.7l motor aren’t like they used to be. Same motor in the bronco and still having problems. Have you considered the gladiator? IMO the only reliable mid size truck that we all know due to the same platform as the Jl and Jlu. I’ve been looking around for a 2nd vehicle and explored the Colorado, ranger and Tacoma. But come back to looking at the jeeps either the Jl or the Jl. May consider the jt.
