The only thing I did with my 3.9 was change the oil, and then the power steering pump when it went out at around 150k on the odometer. Getting rear ended was what killed that truck. The fuel filter got knocked loose and suddenly 170k miles worth of gas gunk had free access to the fuel system. :headbang:
The 3.9 was the previous gen of Chrysler V6 though. Production on that beast started in the late 80's.

And was pretty much just chopping two cylinders off of a 318. I loved how it sounded.

Couldn't find mine, so I bought another.

Drained, and now SIL is working to build a better plumbing solution piping the dishwasher discharge directly to the garbage disposal.
As it should have been from the beginning.

Wayyyy to much... :surprised:
That's actually pretty inexpensive for a larger recovery kit and a winch

Edit: description says includes a winch, box does not, weird

If it comes with an actual winch, then I'd say its not a bad price for sure!
TBH if it came with all of that and a winch for that price I'd be concerned about the quality of the Chinesium used to assemble it

I guess...

I bought my winch third-hand for $50 so I don't know much about expensive vs cheap with a new one. lol.

He loves his Subaru. It just started to nickel and dime him. So he’s over it. Not totally sold on the JL but it’s on the short list. And since they moved to the mountains and will get snow. The JL makes the most sense. Plus my daughter has always wanted one.
yea hes gonna hate the Jeep too then

And let me guess… your spouse isn’t the mediocre one.

I tell her often how lucky I am.

Survived. Even with TC "off" her car cut power at a certain point. No huge billowing clouds of dead tire, but she got some smoke going, lots of smiles. Also tore up the road pretty good lol
Did you hold the button till the light on the dash flashed a bit?

Yeah if you're throwing that kind of money at a car it might as well come with remote reservoirs and shitloads of up or down travel.
Or go STUSTUSTU and put 400hp to all 4 wheels

I've met his wife... she could have done so much better than Ricky... :bandit:
Luckily she is ok with it

Let's be honest, it was the V6s that were neglected the worst, and threw fits because of it, by people who just didn't care. The 4 cylinders of the era might have been technically neglected the worst, but they were simple NA 4 cylinders and just kept ticking. The old Chrysler V6s threw fits when they were neglected.
Had a Stratus with the 2.7 come in locked up tight with 28k on the clock and the oil filter stamped with "Factory Installed" Was actually kinda impressive.

Hey all you jeep geniuses. Question for you. I'm looking to get some recovery gear and don't really want to piece stuff together, so I'm thinking about this set. What are your thoughts?

Seems alright but always make sure that the snatch block is rated for whatever line is in your winch, you dont want to use a cable snatch block on rope line.

Yep, it actually pops up a message in the cluster that TC and ESC are off, and the Performance Pages thing showed TC off.
