Fabtech offers a really nice storage option for the Wrangler. Easy access to CB/GMRS and other items.

Storage inside of a Wrangler can be challenging at best. One of Fabtech’s solutions is an Overhead Molle Rack that utilizes the free space near the headliner between the two front seats.

The Overhead Molle Rack is a one piece design that bolts to the windshield frame and the rear sport bar. It’s built so that you can remove the factory hardtop without tools and will stay in place with the top removed.

The Rack features a Molle and ball stud pattern for easy fastening of compatible storage accessories such as Molle bags. The ball stud pattern allows the installation of ball stud mounts for electronics such as cell phones, communication radios, GPS devices and more.

This high quality Overhead Molle Rack is finished in a texture black powder coat and is the perfect solution for Jeep owners looking for more interior storage space.

Can be used with hard or soft top or no top!

Does this require any drilling or does it use existing bolts/hardware?

2 small holes on the windshield side. On the back side it mounts to existing holes.

I have heard (but not seen it in real life) folks using 3M tape.

Not that I personally am against drilling holes in my Wrangler, but any chance y'all might change up the front mounting points to use the same hardtop freedom panel mounting points that other designs use?

I've had this one in my cart on Amazon for a minute, it involves no drilling.

I'm a free marketer that believes in specialization of labor.
But, that will be enough for some others to pay a premium. :like:

Do you have traceability to the foundry/mill where your steel was smelted?

Ha!!! :) I can't disagree with that.

I know we source our materials from the US and make them here as well.

I also know that last weekend at Bantam, those that wanted to look at ours and then others, came back and bought ours. Overall finish was nicer and the rack overall looked nicer as well.

Quality, fit, finish... Better argument for the premium than location in my book.

Do look at the no drill design. I installed an MPS and snapped a bit drilling out the front.

I do really like the row of molle on the edge. Gives some use to that otherwise wasted space.

I do admit I liked the Fabtech model when I was looking for a molle overhead panel. And the one thing that stopped me from liking it? Drilling. I have zero intention of drilling into my JL windshield frame, like ever. This IIIReeno model was the one I went with. I thought it would end up being another Amazon piece of junk, but when it arrived, it wasn't junk. Far from it. If you grab it by the ends and twist, it doesn't give easy at all. There is some flex (cause steel will flex unless it is considerably thick), but not much at all. I went to see just how it installs, and sure enough, no drilling, and no interference with the freedom panels or best top. Fabtech may want to update the mounting of their panel, cause it is a very attractive piece, and would make for a nice addition.

I would assume China.

Honestly the number one reason I haven't purchased the one in my Amazon cart is because some of the reviews state imperfections in quality and issues with metal warping.

I like that y'alls is only $50 more. Not a bad up charge for potentially a much better quality item. Also too I like that y'all have a clip-in point on the side of it. And y'all's photo you have a walkie-talkie there. It's kind of a nice feature.

I'll give you that, as a factory soft top owner, I don't have the hardtop lock-in points that the Molly panel I posted a photo of attaches to. So I'd have to purchase the attachment point kit. I was going to buy the DV8 kit for hundred bucks. Honestly for me it's something I was planning on purchasing eventually anyways because I do plan on getting a hard top some point in the future.

How does your differ from JCR's? Aside from slot position and uprights on the top They appear to be very similar. Is the quality better in craftsmanship, powder coating durability or somehow a superior design?

JcrOffroad: JL/JT Overhead MOLLE Panel | Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator (18+)

JCR's is $199.00 but currently on sale for $179.10. The install is the same on theirs as well, using the existing mounting holes on the overhead and drilling 2 holes on the windshield side. Aside from pricing at $159.60, what does yours offer that JCR's does not?
