My 17' Chrysler 300 AWD was a snow tank. I drove across the bottom of the lakes states in the middle of as blizzard to go pick up my Puddle Jumper, never slipped once, it was like the road was clear. Chryslers AWD system in its big cars is magic.
I did consider the Challenger GT when I was vehicle shopping.

Isn't Hill Assist supposed to take care of that for you?
It holds only for ~2 seconds, and immediately lets go once it senses throttle input. Takes me a bit longer than 2 seconds to engage still.

I've definitely done that a few times. I'd rather make a ruckus peeling out than stall and roll backwards personally. Of course, the ideal situation is to pull away smoothly...not quite there yet :asshat:

Had to take a detour through Fort Lee yesterday (town at the NJ end of the GWB) and learned the hard way that Fort Lee is very much like San Francisco in that it is built on a cliff face, with inclines to match. :lipssealed::lipssealed::lipssealed:
lol, I'm glad I was experienced with the manual when I made my first trip to San Francisco. San Francisco itself isn't bad but just north of the Golden Gate bridge, Sausalito is nothing but one big hill and my Dakota never went above second gear there lol.

Do you know how long I looked at that photo before figuring it out? Damn, that’s one shiney wrangler!!! (I thought there were two pieces of cardboard, but what the heck were the wheel and fender doing???)
Thx RA!

I did consider the Challenger GT when I was vehicle shopping.
I was not disapointed with my 300, it was comfortable and the 3.6 is dementions ahead of the ancient 3.5. The change to a Jeep Wrangler was simply the fact that it looks good again. I loved the TJ, wanted one badly in 2000 but didn't make it happen. The JK has always been meh in styling to me. Then some of my tubers' starting reviewing the JL and I literally lost my mind! I started lurking here, finding specs, pricing, possible dealers. I asked my dealer and he had no clue. So finally I broke, I emailed Craig at Koons VA and well... Now not only do I have a JL, but its lifted, wheels and tires and a bumper :lipssealed: I'm enjoying every moment of my insanity

ah well my wife wanted to avoid "stereotyping herself" and refuses to consider the 300 and Charger even though I really like them.

The 300, Charger, Challenger, are all fantastic vehicles, I just can't consider them now, I've tasted blood and its good

Salty air will create corrosion by oxidizing certain metals but not rust although we do get rust just like any metal will rust but not nearly as bad as other regions of the US .

I personally haven't had any rust issues with any of my vehicles but have had some on certain tools left outside .

Don'r see a lot of rusted out cars n trucks down here
I agree. The vehicles down here don’t rust. However, if a vehicle sits for a time, then you will see a bit of rusting on the rotars. Once you drive, it comes off.

Oh and I’m afraid I’ve left out the most important part! Just like the producers! Where the Jeep Wranglers at?!?!
wth.gif

Didn’t see a single one in the movie.
Yep, just the one Grand Wagoneer that is in just about every movie anyway.
