Oh I know...I have mine all rigged up too - iPod in the console, phone in the media hub. In the morning, I just use the Bluetooth though - not worth rigging up the phone for a 15 minute drive .

My question was in part because I'm not sure what carries the text and call notifications - the Bluetooth or the USB setup. I.e. would texting and calls work with just the USB only?

Yes, my Bluetooth is connected. Calls work all the time, but as far as I know the lesser notifications like texts & emails only come in with the USB connection.

That might not be a bad plan. That was the hardest for us, just getting the bolts out. Once we had them out, it didn't take anytime to bolt them back on. We used a cheater too and it took both of us (he was under the Jeep pushing with his foot on the back wheel and I was standing above him pulling on the cheater). We both got up hurting the next day. I had no idea those things would be so hard to get out. I wish you luck and let us know how you eventually get them on. Many hugs!

Yeah, it's just me here doing them so I think I'll call around this morning. Good to know this is normal though.
