That might not be a bad plan. That was the hardest for us, just getting the bolts out. Once we had them out, it didn't take anytime to bolt them back on. We used a cheater too and it took both of us (he was under the Jeep pushing with his foot on the back wheel and I was standing above him pulling on the cheater). We both got up hurting the next day. I had no idea those things would be so hard to get out. I wish you luck and let us know how you eventually get them on. Many hugs!I tried an 18 inch breaker bar and only managed to move the bolt a millimeter. I tried my Makita impact gun and that was useless. I put a 3 foot cheater over the breaker bar and I can turn it, but the tension is not loosening. The thought of using that much energy to turn 3 inches of bolt, and then realizing there's 5 more to go.. I'm considering taking it to a shop or bribing my nephew.
Is it possible that the bolts have thread-lock on them from the factory? That would explain why they are difficult to remove and easier to install. That might not be a bad plan. Hope you feel bettter soon! No, just not feeling good, not paying much attention.
Not good! I'm so sorry! So I can’t make this shit up! I went to install the sliders and as I took them out, after traveling thirty miles away to have my brother help me, we realized they sent me two passenger side rails. Not super happy right now.
So freaking weirdNot good! I'm so sorry!

It is a little textured. I would use it in snow.Is the surface material grippy?
(I’m wondering about whether it will be a safe and useful step in snowboots)
