:giggle: I like that.
Frankenstein said he might bring the CJ-5, but doesn't want red iron ore on that one. (or JRex, but I already won that argument too.)
Never met a woman whom lost an argument without doing so on purpose! My mother always used to say “I’m always right, even if I’m mistaken”

This is why I love them ;)

I saw some chatter about removing the body bolts in order to install sliders. There's a thread on these forums about what a bitch it is to get them off. At least one person snapped off one of the bolts because it was cross-threaded from the factory. I guess it was quite a chore for the dealer service department to fix, too.
That's also part of my concern though I doubt any of mine are cross threaded

How big is the impact driver you're using? I have a 1/2" M18 Milwaukee that takes off lug nuts (torqued to 120+ ft. lbs.) without flinching. Might be worth picking one up.

What a pain in the ass! I managed to get all of the small ones installed, no problem. I managed to rip one of the big ones:headbang:, so I will be ordering another set. I’m finished for now because the sun came around and you can’t install in direct sunlight. I will say that the solution that you mix up is a lifesaver. I saw your post after I came in the house, otherwise I would have taken some pics. Basically, I prepped the area by using bug and tar remover. Then, you basically keep the area of installation wet, along with your hands and the 3M protectors and start applying to the hinge.
No worries, thanks tho. I'm sure there are some googlish pictures out there to check it out. We haven't determined if/ how often the doors will come off to decide whether to do this protection or not.

I just got done doing some work on the door that goes from the house to the garage. It's not lined up quite right and was extremely hard to get the dead bolt to lock. I did somewhat of a Rube Goldberg fix but I don't care. I can lock it now without yanking up on the handle while turning the damn dead bolt key. The door rubs ever so slightly on the left side but not enuf to cause issues.
- double check the hinge screws ( they often come loose and will cause the door to be out of square)
- check the level of the door ( you experience cold to warm weather and ground shifting so it may have shifted out of plumb )

maybe !

If it's 100 degrees out with 90% humidity I can still run down to the store for food

So I can’t make this shit up! I went to install the sliders and as I took them out, after traveling thirty miles away to have my brother help me, we realized they sent me two passenger side rails. Not super happy right now.

I'm the idiot that installed the door to begin with. Pretty sure it's all correct except the stupid striker plates don't line up correctly. I've got it all working for now but I might check the plumb/level at some point.
Thanks Dan the Man!

Uhg! That sucks. There's nothing more frustrating than getting an incorrect/incomplete order. It happened to me earlier in the week.
