Jeep humor waiting room ( ** NO POLITICS ** )

As you know, I can’t speak from JL experience, but I can reference little kids, and a 2 door.

I don’t know how much movement there is the JL seats, but I’m my TJ, it is close to impossible to put a babe in a car seat into the back seat.

By ‘close to impossible’, this is what I mean.

Hold babe in left hand. Climb into seat. Pull babe through and set on passenger seat. Reach over with left hand. Fully recline drivers seat. Climb up the back of drivers seat. Sit. Reach forward and grab babe from passenger seat. Bring her through drivers seat compartment. Snap her into seat base behind passenger seat. Climb off drivers seat. Adjust drivers seat for driving.

Upon arrival, reverse the procedure.

Not long into that, I sent the form in to get Transport Canada’s permission to deactivate my passenger side airbag. Daughter’s been riding up front since.

I don’t know how often you transport your grandkids, so this may not be a consideration at all for you, but if it is...

Thanks RA. The only time I have transported a GK was when my daughter and family visited and we had GK's in the back with mom in between and dad in pax while I drove. This was a JK, but same diff and the 4dr. They do visit every summer so you bring up a very good point. They are getting to the age tho where they will be able to seat themselves soon so the 2dr could work. The rest are all within driving distance.

I must be lucky , they knocked on my door and told me I had to move it ...probably for liability reasons

I'm trying to keep my hopes up that it will be built next week and ready to ship on the estimated date of 6/30. Give it 2 weeks for shipping (hopefully), I should be able to get my hands on it by mid-July. I called the Jeep Information Line yesterday and got nothing new...so...par for the course. I will be calling every day next week to check my status. And then will be calling every day once it is shipped to find out where it is. If Jeep wants to shut down the tracking sheets, then they need to be ready to get called...right?

FL Jeeple, my kids will be in Orlando area next week. Weather shows 50% chance of rain/thunderstorms almost daily. Should I expect this to be just passing rain? Like pack them a few ponchos and not stress about it? Or plan for extra sneakers etc??
Also, weather at night...just summer clothes right? Last time I was down there it was early June, super hot and rained once a day for about an hour. They loved it, but had mommy ready with ponchos and hats etc. Dad will only worry about getting his sneakers wet, so he’s no use.

50% means it may or may not but should be prepared for a short rain or down pour , This can change on any given day also . Check again on monday and will probably be a different 20 day outlook

Were in the rainy season but usually not all day rains

always casual dress year round and an umbrella wouldn't hurt

what ever gets wet will dry out within an hour or so

good time of year to be down here !!!
Most have gone home !
