Only for slightly longer than a quick jab from my experience. You have to hold the ignition button longer.You have to hold the start/stop (SS) button in, with an MT anyway. Other vehicles you just push it once and it will try to turn over without having to hold it in. Make sense?
I may go start a thread about it!

I've just started to use it again, though I toggle it sometimes when I'm deep in the grid layout. Today, I switched it off when I had about 5 stop signs in 500 feet.
