The defrosters were cracking early windshields, but 140 degree water won’t?
Have never had a cracked windshield from the hydroblast and even through winters. Would imagine thats the top temp, but everything is relative, with outside temp colder I am sure it is not hitting your windshield at 140 degrees, but for the ease of removing constant bugs I will take that chance.

I cleared out all the personal stuff so I could leave it at the body shop in the morning for corrosion repairs 2.0.

Try a coating like RainX to help remove bugs. It also beads up water and makes driving in the rain more pleasant. I've been using it since the early 80s.

That sucks and I fell ya! I am trying to get my 2019 back in after a year from the first fix. It's all bubbling again and more this time. Dealer said they can't get hinges until after the first of the year!

Did the Oracle flush mounts and just received my LOD destroyer sliders.

Anyone know how to remove spray foam from powder coat? Looks like was accidentally sprayed wet into the corner of the slider and I cannot remove it. Is smooth like the powder coat. I’ve tried microfiber cloth and some water but nothing comes off. Is whole corner. Came in yesterday, so haven’t been able to ask LOD.

Have you thought about bug & tar remover? Never tried it on that type of surface but it does well with decal adhesive on paint.

It's possible that spray 3M Adhesive Remover will work. I've used it on body paint and other stuff to remove leftover adhesive (which it is safe for) and it does an incredible job. Might be good enough to help you here. Available everywhere.

Amazon.com: 3M Adhesive Remover, Helps Remove Tar, Attachment Tape & Bumper Sticker Adhesive, 12 oz., 1 aerosol : Automotive

Took my jlr to the dealer to get the paint corrosion repair redone. Just had it done (great job)in April. It was a very small repair. It is starting to make its presence again on the bottom edge of the hood. I must say I have had good service on warranty repairs at my dealer. the prep must not have been done correctly. I don't know but as long as they fix it that's fine.

I'm fairly certain this is the first time I've washed her in the 1.5 years of ownership. I just prefer my Jeeps with layers of trail dust/dirt... it's like natures PPF but it was about time I suppose. Time to get a fresh new layer of trail grime on her. Also yes it was a sort of a low effort wash at one of those self service wash stations.

Looks nice! How do you like those wheels? I’m Looking at the double black 305’s and 35’s, with no lift though.
