Actually, we Hang out mostly in the garage/saloon. Only the ladies that require facilities typically even come inside.

We went to the church archives and have copies of the building committee meeting notes for its construction. All the trades wanted to do special work for their community church. Which on the surface seems fantastic. Until you hire masons to do some work, and they let you know that you have a custom sized brick...
We had them cap and lower the chimneys by about 5’ a few years ago, and they cleaned and salvaged the bricks. We have a very special pallet wrapped in the backyard that they pilfer from every few years when we have them come and do work.

I know... when we had to replace the roof on the curved section, it took two days. While the roof was off, we had a freak wind/rain storm. It was tarped, but I lived in fear that entire night...

I bet it’s worth it. And the kiddos having the memories has to fantastic! We threatened to put one like that up when we first moved in. But reality is, the top would fit, but the base would take up the entire livibg space.
