So, I convinced everyone to go kayaking today. A nice five mile stretch up the Pimegewasset River. I’ve been canoeing a gazillion times, but never kayaking. So, the driver says, “ You’ve all been kayaking before right?” So, my SO says yep. Then the driver says, “Good, because when you encounter the rapids, that’ll help you.” Everyone looks at me and I shrug, I didn’t know they had rapids. I told the girlies that we would have a nice easygoing day down the river. :cwl: Well, most were small, but a couple of them were ‘mean’ and dumped my SO ...twice. Then, an even bigger one dumped him a third time because at that point his kayak was full of water and harder to steer. Needless to say, it was a fun, eventful day

:cwl: Awesome! I always wanted to tube down the Pemi! Looks like I’d have the same experience kayaking! What part of NH are you in?

For the record, I get Jeep waves from 4 and 2 drs. Doesn't seem to be any pattern to the ones that don't wave. Like I've said before, there is one lifted one around me here that never waves. He is way too awesome. Clearly mine is smaller than his.

Mass laundry catch up day is today this week. I warned my kids that I’d be up and starting early. Told them the earlier they get up, the earlier they start helping. They’ve been quiet and “still sleeping” for the 2 hours I’ve been up. Success either way.
