Understand, good to know. So the factory oil is OK during the first 3,000 miles, which includes the break in period?

I got a lot of different opinions on the " break in" period . My Mechanics say the factory oil is good and doesn't need the break in while other new vehicle owners change there's after 600 / 1000 / 1500 miles . It depends a lot on what kind of miles your putting on it also ...in town or highway

I would say yes your fine on the first 3000 unless you feel more comfortable doing it earlier and after that its every 5000
