Ordered my JLU Rubi today

I just finished ordering my White loaded Rubi from Travis Reynolds at Tri-City Jeep in Eden NC. I was able to get 6% below invoice. They beat Koons price and are great to work with. Now I just have to sit and wait.

I think JL demand is softer than FCA predicted, or at least folks are leery of the price increase. My local dealer just got their first JL Rubicons in a couple weeks ago, and they were pitching me hard like they needed to unload inventory. Usually a hot new model elicits more of a "you're lucky if we even let you buy it at MSRP" vibe than the "name your price" wheelin'-dealin' we've seen on the JL.

Ordered my billet silver JLUR through Travis last week as well. Looks like June 6th before they start building again, so I'm guessing a late July early August delivery date.

They can’t keep them on the lot from what I have seen in PA working about 6 dealers.

I have been talking with Travis as well and we decided to wait for the 2019 order banks to open to put my order in.

He said he wasn’t sure when exactly he would be able to do it, but that he would get with me, or if I saw the dates first let him know.

More of a pain for me since we are stationed in Puerto Rico and I have to ship it to FL then drive it to the dealer to trade (issue with import taxes so I can’t sell/buy in PR).

Anyone know if you can still use/get mil rebate on top of this?

I wish we would of gotten this kind of deal on our Raptor. We did good walking out the door at MSRP on it.

Out here they are getting a lot of low spec models. The dealers I’ve been to say almost every Jeep JL customer that comes in orders a high end rubicon or high spec Sahara.

I got told this too. Lots of 38k JLs sitting on lots and no 50K JLs sitting around. The 50K Jeeps get bought rolling off the truck.

Yeah. It’s interesting. They only have mostly stripped sports. Nothing in between really here in IL. There is the odd fully optioned white or granite rubicon but I’m not into those colors personally.

So you haven’t received your VIN yet? I ordered on 5/17 and haven’t heard anything back from the dealer. I was gonna give it until tomorrow to reach out.
