Understand...I had thought about getting some 3m protection film for the sides but wasn't sure if it was absolutely necessary. I want to keep my JL looking as new as possible for as long as possible...

Dunno about the 2drs, but the side steps really help on the 4dr. There was snow/salt shit all over the sides of Wrikki until I put the steps on.

Part of the reason I order mine as part of the build. VT winter roads are FUN! Even for those of us whom live in “the city”. Can’t wait to not plow / shovel my driveway all winter. You know, because Jeep.

All around I think they are a solid call. Even at 6’2” can’t hurt to have the bit of an assist, they prevent a lot of potential dings, and IMHO they also make the lines look even sharper

I agree on all parts! I like the look of them...the lines & contrast they add. Especially compared to the damn holes that are there now. Haha

Just the plain Mopar ones. Up to you if you go with another style. Just doin a quick Uncle Ben search for ya.

I order the tubular side steps for mine as part of my build. Simple and functional, and thought they looked good. Heard they are also great for preventing door dents from your neighbors and their low riders. But have seen a few aftermarket they also serve well as rock rails. If your a hardcore off-roader
