Just shot a PM to @JeepCares on the off chance that they can do something.

Everyone else says they're doing everything they can. Needless to say, I have doubts.
I'm sorry but it seems like Jeep's engineers did a good job with the JL but their Marketing and PR departments are well...

That seems to happen regardless of the application. Which is why engineers should just be in charge of everything. :movember:

I **might** be a bit biased, being an engineer myself ;)

At this point, anything that can help is worth a shot.
My thoughts exactly. At the very least I can hopefully express to them, in a calm and collected manner, just how frustrated I am.

Just keep in mind that if SimpleJL could get his Jeep, you will get yours. One day, hopefully soon, you dealer will call and say "Surprise!"

That's pretty much the only thing keeping me from pulling the plug on the JL entirely.

lol, yes if we give the engineers an unlimited budget and tell them to have at it.
Case in point, the last time that happened we developed a space program and put a man on the moon inside of a decade...just sayin'. ;)

yes! its really sad that NASA stagnated after the space shuttle was developed and then congress got involved.

Congress is loath to spend money without a tangible return inside their term limits. Thus, NASA's funding is always on the chopping block. At the peak of the space race, NASA was getting only 4% of the federal budget. The return on investment to the economy (long term) has been quoted at $8 for every dollar spent.

NASA is basically the USA's R&D department outside of the military.

This is why I'm glad for SpaceX, we have a private company not interested in the politics of space travel involved now.
