I commend you ! ......... I couldn't do it and wouldn't do it !Dan, no issues dude. I didn't include that in my first post on this matter. (I thought I had that information in my signature line...but didn't...until now.) Funny thing about that...the dealership can't seem to get any information either. In fact, one of the times I asked them to talk to the Area Rep...the quote I got back was..."it will get built when it is built". As far as I can tell, the dealership hasn't cashed my deposit check yet (I have looked several times) and as far as re-ordering...well...I have a VIN and will just ride it out. According to my dealer, since I have a 2018 VIN, it will be built as a 2018 model (probably more awesome information from the Rep...)
This whole experience has definitely dampened my enthusiasm for my JL...I have made the mistake of driving a 4-door Rubicon a 1 1/2 weeks ago...it was a manual (like mine) and had the upgraded audio (like mine) but didn't really pay attention to too many more options installed on it. (I doubt it is just like mine but with 2 extra doors.) I wanted to know how the manual Rubicon drove and I was duly impressed. I had driven a manual Sport before I ordered but it wasn't the same. Doing that doesn't make having to wait for mine any easier...but I wanted to know...and now I do. Now...it is the long haul for me. I will get my JL...when it is built and delivered...I just hate to wait...and in my line of work (Electrical Engineer at an OEM Supplier), not providing a delivery date is akin to suicide. I can't, for the life of me, understand why FCA can't tell me when my JL will be built. This is taking "just in time" manufacturing to new levels. LOL
To make matters worse (and unfortunately I have to take the blame for this one...) I have gotten rid of my car with AC and now have my motorcycle or 2000 TJ (both without AC) to drive and we are seeing temps in the 90s already in St. Louis. Nothing like a pissy 275lb hot (heat not looks) biker complaining about things...huh?
Ok...enough ranting...back to the regularly scheduled program.
Most likely true. heheMaybe she wanted a wet sock?![]()
I don't know why, but wet socks are worse than just stepping in a puddle barefoot...Most likely true. hehe
Smarta$$So.... All of Canada?
Portillo, maybe? It’s a popular spot for skiing in our summer.Well is was thing South America or South of the Equator, where it is fall going into winter.
It still does poorly in a car on car crash though. Look how far it goes!
yeah, i don't know what kind of voodoo magic they had to employ to make it safe(r) for a crush like that. I also found it highly ironic when big SUVs got horrible ratings for safety because their frame wasn't as well thought through.lol, I like the Joke but that's actually from hitting a barrier wall at highway speeds.
I'd have to agree with you. Like when you put clean ones on and then step in a bit of water in the bathroom.I don't know why, but wet socks are worse than just stepping in a puddle barefoot...

well am I telling the truth? lolSmarta$$
