Does it taste similar to braunschweiger? If it is close, then I could probably be ok with it. That said, in 49 years on this planet, I've not eaten liver and onions, just because of the thought of it. However, I have eaten braunschweiger. I ate it as a kid and didn't know what was in it, so I had no issue with it.

Sort off except its best fried , thin sliced and smothered in onions

but yea its kinda got a Braunschweiger taste

My mom chose a place that has really good liver & onions.

L&O is good if done right. Name of restaurant please. Wife and are going to camp on one of the finger lakes this summer and do some wine tasting yet to decide what lake. We have done them all before so we are starting our second time around.
