So I am seeing some pictures of JK's and the Green is, I dont want to say horrible, but baby poopish. The Sarge Green on the JL seems Darker and Deeper. Was there a difference or is there an additional green for certain years of JK? Im having serious second thoughts about the Sarge. Somedays I love it...some days I can tell and I have about a month to decide before they finalize my order...

I'm not a bright color type. Most of them look cool, but I couldn't look at it everyday. And I've already gotten a good taste of high maintenance black with my last vehicle. I went with Stingray and it's awesome in all ways. Sarge would be my next choice. I recently saw a Rubi in sarge and it looked awesome. It looks way nicer in person than in the pics I've seen.

same colors. Just depends on how the light hits it. In some lights I love it, others not.

No it’s not. JK never had a Sarge green. In 2012 the JK had 3 greens, gecko green, natural green(most like Sarge) and Black Forest green(super dark).
Later Tank green was a little more dull army green. And a Hyper green which is light bright green.

The best green Jeep was Moss Green in the TJ, followed by Mojito, and Sarge!

Not true. JK did have a Sarge Green in 2016. in 2016 Sarge Green paint code PGG was available on the Willys model.

The current Sarge Green on the JL is also paint code PGG.

Digital photography can make colors look a little weird depending on light, especially with a flash.

I had a 2013 JK in Commando Green. It was only offered for a few months in that year only. I loved the color and would buy it again. If I find the CJ5 or CJ3B that I’m looking for, I will consider that color for it when it needs new paint. The name was a misnomer though, it was more like a cactus green than a military color.

This is it, bone stock, the day after I bought it.

I'm not gonna argue greens. He can call it Tank The paint code on a green 2016 JK Willys is PGG; the paint code on my green 2020 JLU Rubicon is PGG. PGG is the Mopar paint code for Sarge Green.

Sarge Green is not listed as a 2021 color any where. But there are plenty of 2021 Sarge Green JL's on dealer lots.

Tank is not the same color as Sarge. Sarge looks a lot like the natural green from 11/12.

I understand and know the difference between Sarge Green and Tank. Sarge Green, color code PGG, was a color on 2016 JK Willys. This is in ADDITION to Tank. Two different greens offered the same year.

Where? I posted 3 sources. All did not list Sarge.

Ok. A simple paint code search will get you there. Paintscratch.com. JK's were painted in 20 colors in model year 2016. Yes 20. Not all 20 colors were available on all trims and at all times throughout the model year run.
