Over the weekend, I helped my cousin book an order for this first ever Wrangler. Him and his wife are excited to jump to the Wrangler Bandwagon. They managed to order a Base 2021 Sport Model with a Turbo 4 Engine. The dealer was able to give him a slight break on the $37k MSRP and they settled at $34.5k before taxes and fees. They expect delivery by Jan or Feb 2021 at the latest as there is a slight delay due to COVID. That is also ok. Not a bad experience overall esp given the fact that he knew the dealer thru a friend.
Here is the question to those of us who own the base sport with an Automatic transmission: Is there an aftermarket Remote Start that the can be recommended for the couple's Jeep? When I did a search, all aftermarket options required Power Locks at the minimum; something their Base model JLU Sport does not have. Will appreciate if anyone has experience with this topic and recommend something they can buy. I checked Quadratec and they did not really have a solution for them. Maybe Power Locks are an absolute requirement for Remote Starting???
