What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Removed Rubicon stickers, put all my prior car goodies in after picking it up last night, and put the rear cargo tray that I ordered in. Sill guards and grab handles should get her Friday.

It is OK to store flares inside the jeep if i gets real hot in the summer and its locked up where ut can 120 inside ? just wondering i thought about storing some flares myself but it gets 120 inside the jeep in the Texas summers here. and where can you buy some flares ?

Flares are safe and designed for car heat. Long term extended exposure can be bad. I’m not because I swap them out every few years but they should be stored in something so they don’t get messy all over your other things if they degrade. You can by them at any auto parts store and online.

Yes. Police cars have carried them in their trunks for 40-50 years without issues. Guessing a trunk of a police car gets as hot as the interior of the jeep.

FatBoy’s write up is great. I used it to install my sliders. Only issue I had was the front driver side bolt must have been installed by a loctite spokesperson because it was caked on. Took a while to get off and cleaned up

Blacked out the wheels and “Jeep” and installed the fuel cap

Added some foam to the top of a tire storage rack I made. It can now hold the hardtop.
