These pics and videos are from Bald Mountain and Nunn Creek in northern Colorado on Friday. We also did a few miles of Green Ridge Trail before we hit a gate and had to turn around. The videos just show the trails, but this was done in our 2025 JL on 37s and a 3.5" lift. The videos are probably only interesting for anyone considering running these trails and just want a little more feel for the trail conditions and scenery than the trail guides give you. But I thought I'd share anyway since it's sort of JL related.
There was also one other JL with us on this ride -- also on 37s. We've done most of the trails in our area, but had not done these ones yet. I was surprised at how rocky Bald Mountain was, but our JL handled it fine. There were some sections that would have been trickier with a stock configuration, but nothing that would have been impassable. In any case, I think we were probably a couple of the last vehicles to hit these trails before the snow fell and the gates were closed.
FWIW, one of the reasons I capture/edit the trail videos in this style is so I can quickly review the entire trail. It's partly for the memory, but there's also a practical reason -- for me anyway. They should be helpful for anyone wanting to get a better feel for the whole trail.
