I called 2 of my local Jeep dealers and neither of them had a clue as to what these were.

I bought one and I will install it! Obviously the ___ in CDJR service in my area need educating!

How does it hold up to wipers and dust? Curious if it scratches easy

Any third party tests/review videos?

How's it hold up to cleanings?

For $200 I can replace my windshield 4x through insurance and not have my premium skyrocket. In some states this coverage is mandatory.Really curious if there's any proper reviews/testing that's NOT sponsored by the actual product/distributor itself.

Tired again
I bought and installed this product on my Jeep last month. The kit came with a good squeegee and PLENTY of installation fluid. It really IS as easy as the 1st video that Tudor posted above. I parked it in the sun for a few days to get rid of some remaining bubbles, as recommended. During the day, you don't even know it's there. I haven't driven it at night yet to see if there's any distortion, but this product isn't a cheap Amazon brand, so I'm expecting it to be good.

I can't stress enough- CLEAN THE HELL OUT OF YOUR WINDSHIELD!!! If there are ANY tiny bug parts or similar contaminants, they will cause a small air bubble in the film. I thoroughly cleaned the windshield twice with glass cleaner, and did the procedure with the spray and squeegee, but still got a few bubbles that had little specks of something in the middle of them. Next time, I will spray the windshield down with their spray, and scrape it down with one of those razor blade scrapers to make sure I get all the way down to the glass before I do the other cleanings. I might even consider using a clay bar on it...

I'd post pics and do the night-drive, but life is busy right now, and I don't have access to the Jeep. I'll update this in a couple weeks.

We won a free install from our local awesome 4x4 shop (shout out to SFJ4X4 Simpson Family Jeeps! )
It was installed in early July. They did mention that our windshield was pretty banged up, though there were no breaks (Gorilla glass, '21, 60k miles).
We're glad to have it on as we don't have great windshield coverage, and realize we're lottery winners as far as Jeep windshields go. So far it still looks great, no scratching or blurring. We'll see how it does once we've had it on 3 days of highway driving for wheeling in Colorado/ Utah and back.

Sounds pretty positive.

Im just worried about this scratching up from wiper use with dust or other debris always being on the windshield

What is the thickness reduced by when each layer is removed? In other words, does it start 8mm thick and then reduced by 3mm after layer one is removed and then another 3mm when layer two is removed, thereby leaving the last layer at 2mm thick? Sounds like a great idea, I just need to know how each consecutive layer being removed reduces the impact protection. Thank you.

I had concerns about that too, but haven't seen a problem so far. We try to never dry wipe the windshield, though- always hit at least a little washer fluid first.
According to all the info, each layer is expected to last about 6 months, so we'll see how it works out long term.
It's still a lot cheaper than a new windshield.

The dealer I bought my Jeep from has a big sign advertising this product but then when I inquired about it, they don’t actually do the installation and don’t have anybody capable to install it

I went with WPF ultrafit windcrest evo and after 2 months it’s saved me 2x. Also no noticeable scratches from wipers. I always use fluid when wipers on unless it’s a super heavy rain, but even then the film acts similar to rainx so you don’t always need wipers
