PSC Motorsports has released upgraded steering systems for the Jeep JL. These steering systems were designed to solve the original steering issues and efficiently handle the increased torque loads due to larger tire sizes and installing aftermarket axle assemblies.
The PSC Big Bore XD Cylinder Assist Kits feature PSC’s Big Bore XD-JL Steering Gearbox with a traditional belt-driven High Flow Mechanical Power Steering Pump Conversion. Current applications include systems for both 3.6L JLs with OEM Dana 30 axle and OEM Dana 44 axle (Rubicon).
These steering systems aim to:
• Eliminate excessive on-center “play” at the steering wheel
• Eliminate electro-hydraulic pump overheating
• Increase Torque Output turns 37″- 44″ tire sizes
• Improve turning capability when locking differentials are engaged
