Here’s a helpful tip from a site member who replaced the 3.6L Pentastar’s factory battery on his base JL with a larger battery (group 94 size) without modification.
A group 94 size battery is the same width and height as the base 3.6L JL’s factory battery, while being 1″ longer. But, a simple removal of a clip clears enough space for the battery to fit. The result is more battery power with hardly any effort required!
