FCA US has announced this safety recall and stop sale on certain 2018 model year Jeep Wrangler JL.
The issue involves a potential welding issue with the steering intermediate shaft on some 2018 JL Wranglers which under high steering wheel torque may index and cause the steering wheel to lose center positioning and responsiveness.
