Our First JL Wrangler Total Loss Crash :(

It was bound to happen eventually, but it’s still a sad sight to see – the first reported JL Wrangler total loss crash.

It involved a JLWF member’s red Rubicon with only 510 miles at the time of the accident. The major crash resulted in the member’s broken wrist, sore shoulder & shoulder blade and a broken watch, but it could have been much worse according to the owner. The JL didn’t fare nearly as well as it took frame damage as well as damage to the rock rail, wheels, axle, ds tube, and engine.

Most importantly though, the safety features engineered into the JL did their job as it kept the owner safe with relatively minor injuries considering the force of the crash!  See more photos of the damage inside.
