After months of waiting and delays, and in a twist of irony, it appears the first JL Wrangler owner to receive the Sky One-Touch Power Top did not even order it from the factory.
JLWF member Curtis recently traded his old ride for a white 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Rubicon — it was not the exact build he preferred so he began shopping for a body colored hard top to match. The search led him to a local parts dealer in Michigan who somehow, had the new Sky One-Touch Power Top available for purchase, albeit missing the glass, mounting hardware and front interior molding.
What comes next will be figuring out how to retrofit this new JL power top onto his JL Rubicon. Stay tuned to see how and if this can be accomplished, and if you can offer Curtis some help, by all means chime in!
