Jeeper Hero and Shooting Victim Gets Send Off From Hundreds of Jeeps

Kendrick Castillo, who was shot to death while taking down a gunman at STEM School Highlands Ranch on May 7 in Colorado, received a hero’s send off yesterday from hundreds of Jeeps.

When Jeep groups across Colorado learned that Castillo was an avid Jeeper, they mobilized to pay tribute. Hundreds of Jeep drivers lined Colorado Boulevard on Wednesday to pay tribute to Kendrick Castillo. The Jeep owners escorted Castillo’s hearse to a Highlands Ranch church where a celebration of life was held for the teen.
